During the last twenty years the COGLAS Software generations have been developed repeatedly three times. The latest software generation is based on the Microsoft NET development environment under a MS Visual Studio with C++/CLI and C#.
Recent developments are founded on our database of performance characteristics, which contains all logistic processes ever demanded. Thereby, loss of requirements was successfully avoided. Through this modularity, customers’ requests could have been concentrated and been made manageable. Since 2006, the implemented Microsoft Share Point Portal Server transforms mass of experience and Knowledge into well-structured Know-how.
Foundation of the further development of our well-proven COGLAS Software is our requirement and planning data base, which enables to structure permanently incoming requirements according to importance and maturities.
COGLAS Software is based on a client server architecture, which might as well be carried out by terminal server architecture in data processing centers and via web server in the internet and intranet respectively.
In form of services on the application server as well as on the client, the business process logistics are defined. Mobil applications can additionally be equipped with Smart Clients. The COGLAS Web application is supplemented by COGLAS Web services.
All performance features are displayed in a modern structured data model on a relational data base. For years, COGLAS relies on the market leader oracle. In terms of COGLAS web application, license free data base e.g. Postgre SQL can be introduced.
Thus, it is possible to operate with different generations of COGLAS Software and, by the way, to realize a secure and graduated update.
The product COGLAS Data Exchange secures, that not only different COGLAS products are able to communicate among one another, but as well guarantees safe data exchange with ERP software, business software, circuit planning, forwarder software, web shops and other applications.
For online communication between different COGLAS products, COBRA is implemented. Integration of 3rd party products occurs via DLL´s in our COGLAS products.
The Microsoft Teamfoundation Server allows revision control of the programs.
Before a COGLAS product is consigned, contained performance features are checked for proper functioning throughout our automatic test system.
