Integration of efficient picking as well as the related information flow in modern distributions and production centers can only be managed by means of capacious EDV controlling. COGLAS Logistic Suite offers a software solution for improvement and cost reduction of the picking processes required. Out of intern and extern consumers respectively, COGLAS gains information under addition of material master data (length, width, height, weight etc.) about quantity and condition of picking units needing to be packed in case of minimal tracks of picking staff. Transmission of picking orders can happen via radio data communication to mobile terminals or using the COGLAS Pick by Voice technology. With the order entry COGLAS simulates the complete picking process regarding multiple restriction, as e.g. type of pallet, height, weight etc. and relates optimal contents of the palett with predefined number range. Standard EAN 128 is completely supported. Concluded in the standard is the outright documentation of the pallet’s content by graphics and quantative kit list. Therefore otimised tracking and quality control is assured.
