The COGLAS Inventory control is a closed system. The entry of inventory can automatically occur either via notifications or via normal inbound bookings. Dispatch of inventories can happen in terms of outbound bookings or after delivery to customers. All goods movements between in- and outbound are relocations. Goods and quantities for relocations can be defined from reportings of e.g. filling of fixed bin locations by replenishment, demand of order kitting goods for formation of assortments, minimum inventory under-usage and dynamic assembly of picking areas depending on current orders structures. At the same time, packing of goods from picking handling units to shipping units is realized. In terms of relocation, characteristics and criteria of source and destinated bin location are validated. Furthermore, orders of packing on shipping units with relocation process are planned.
